Janice Strong enjoys a 1973 Trillium Trailer

Recreation access is a big part of me and my husband's ability to reach the destinations we want in the rugged mountains of the Rockies and the Purcells. To allow spending more time in the backcountry, instead of driving 2 or 3 hours to reach the trailhead, we fixed up and old Trillium Camper.

This little fiberglass camper extends the outdoor season in the East Kootenay region of British Columbia, Canada. This video is a science fiction travel in the night sky and shows the fiberglass camper's hatching from an egg.

The photographs created by Janice Strong

The landscapes and nature images on this website are the way the scenes appeared naturally.

Image composition is the way nature arranged it, unless otherwise mentioned.

To create realistic artistic interpretations of the landscapes Janice adds colour corrections and contrast to her photography. She uses digital technology to add depth-of-field to her images and to remove the occasional power-line crossing some of her landscapes or to remove distracting elements such as sticks or litter. Digital corrections are often made to create attractive photographic images.
