Purcell Mountains are southeastern BC - Janice Strong Photo Gallery. This mountain range separates the East Kootenay and West Kootenay.

Hiking into the Purcells offers wildflower meadows, glaciers, fresh clear creeks, tumbling waterfalls and fabulous scenery.

The Northern Purcell Mountains are my favourite hiking area.
